So have to ask 3 to 2 attack causes a stalemate result and then a combat die roll result for the cost of 1 moral for 2 turns. How the hell is this a small soviet card that comes back every 2 seasons.
the soviet large cards are not this good.
the old card was change the attack into attacker press so it was not a great card.
what is the game balance to this because every time we see it we get about 10 attacks per turn and on the 3 to 2 say 50% are additional casualties so the Germans take 15 points for 2 turns which the soviet get for the season it takes about 3 seasons for the germans to recover from this.
am i missing something on the card
I kind of like the card but it is way overpowered even if it was made a large card with the same effects. Perhaps a change in size and effect so that it only applies to one HQ (or perhaps two within a certain range of each other ) and merely gives you the option to convert any other result to a Stalemate. The option to shift the die roll by plus or minus one would also be a way to do it.

During the last year working with Alan, I have learned it is harder to make a game than to change a game. When you have creative thoughts, you make new cards. Group thinking and play testing may give a new look to the card and sometimes even removal.
