This point seems strange for me :
If the modified result is equal to the overrun unit(s) Defense Strength:
• Apply an EX combat result (246.0). Place the MA force in the target hex, and it may complete its movement. However:
o If there is a No Retreat unit in the hex, it will be eliminated if it is the sole defender. Otherwise, a No Retreat unit will remain in the hex if other defending units are eliminated and/or Retreated.
does it mean that the MA force can pass through the N/R force ?
or the MA force stay blocked in his own hex ?
thanks !

sorry, but there are too many nested cases and sub-cases for this to be clear.
For me, the first point is that the result is a choice between DR and EX, initially offered to the defender with a Heavy unit, and then to the attacker.
Only after DR/EX is determined does the specific case of an N/R unit need clarifications.
So , is this wording correct ?
[233.2.2] MOBILE ASSAULT MARGINAL SUCCESS: If the modified result is equal to the overrun unit(s) Defense Strength:
-- If the defending player has a Heavy unit, then the defender can choose between a DR combat result and an EX result.
-- If the defending player does not have a Heavy unit, the attacker can choose between a DR combat result and an EX result.
-- If the DR result is chosen :
If an N/R force is in the overflow hex, the attacker do not move, and no one suffers losses.
If the targeted hex is cleared of its defenders, place the MA force in the target hex, and its movement ends there.
--If the EX result is chosen :
An N/R force in the overflow hex can only be selected to take the loss if it is the only one present.
If the targeted hex is cleared of its defenders, place the MA force in the target hex, and its movement can continue.
What is your opinion ?

The MA Force does not enter the hex if there is a No Retreat unit unless the No Retreat unit is all alone.
If that is the case, the EX happens (the defender is eliminated but the moving attacker will have an EX against the stack. If the No Retreat is with a friend, the friend must be the choice for the EX. The moving attacker will take a loss and stay in the entry hex. It did not clear the hex, so can not enter the hex.
